We have a couple of tools to help you choose the right keywords
and track the results.
Want to simplify your keyword list-building and improve your
clickthrough rate? Simply enter your keyword(s) or website
URL into the keyword tool to view additional keywords you
can select to trigger your ads. We'll generate a list of the
most popular synonyms and related phrases based on billions
of searches and provide you with traffic estimations for your
keywords.
Easily manage your keyword list:
 |
Sort the results of your
keyword search by popularity, performance history within
the AdWords system, cost, and predicted ad position. |
 |
Select a few
keywords here and there, or add them all at once. Keywords
already present in your Ad Group will be marked so that
you don't have to worry about them. You can also download
your keyword list as a .csv file. |
Generate keywords based on regularly
updated statistics:
 |
Use keywords
you enter, your existing high clickthrough rate keywords,
or any webpage URL for your search. You can also expand
your keyword search even further to include pages linked
to from the original URL. (Note: Site-related keyword
searching is currently only available for English language
users.) |
 |
Increase
your campaign performance by adding relevant keywords
as broad matches, or using exact
or phrase keyword matches to target a specific audience.
Combine the results with your current keywords to improve
your targeting. |
 |
Identify
terms that don't pertain to your business or product,
and add them to your list as negative keywords. (You'll
minimize unwanted impressions, because your ads won't
appear to the wrong people.) |
 |
View the
highly-relevant expanded
matches that AdWords automatically generates and
may use to trigger your ads to increase traffic to your
site. |
To access the keyword tool, click Keyword Tool above the Ad
Group for which you'd like to find keywords. To try our standalone
tool (which doesn't take your performance information or campaign
settings into account), click
here.
You can use our Post CPC/URL feature to:
| Assign
a different cost-per-click (CPC) to each of the keywords
within an Ad Group. |
| Copy-and-paste
keyword lists from programs such as MS Excel and MS
Word into the keyword entry box |

Conversion tracking is the latest addition to our suite of
Google AdWords reporting tools. This feature allows you to
track how many ad clicks convert to purchase, sign-ups, page
views and leads – for free.
You will get AdWords conversion data right down to the keyword
level in your reports and this is information that can help
you better measure your return on investment.
